Change!- June 16, 2025

Hey!! How've you been?  Well the time came and went... Chao digamos. After 4  1/2 months I left Padua and am now in a new area called La Tablada!! Everyone says this is the most dangerous area in the mission, but I haven't seen anything yet... it's pretty nice if you ask me. Also, we are about a 10min drive from the Buenos Aires Temple, so more blessings, even though we can't go.  I'm just now starting to get settled in and get to know some of the new scenery and people. My new companion is Elder Hill... a familiar name!! We were in the training center together Im Mexico, and were comps for a few weeks.  Ok so the dangerous part about La Tablada is that I hear there are lotsss of drugs...and with drugs, comes gangs.  Also there are these things called "Villas" which are very hard to describe. In the words of my comp: " Take 4 blocks of houses, squeeze them into 1 block, then put a bunch of hallways the width of your arms, to get around. Then, fill the...

My Last comp, Elder Engar, described it perfectly. The mission is like a simple house drawing  ... The first wall is the first 6 months, straight up, next you've got the roof going up still but a little less of an Incline. Then you've got the rest, but I haven't gotten there yet so we will save that for later.  I am at that stage on the mish where things slow down a bit, yet at the same time, that is a lie. Don't ask me how it works, I don't know. All I know is that here soon we will be hitting the 11 month mark. Last time I checked, I was getting trained by Elder Myers... but eh, who checks anyways. Here in 2 weeks we will have transfers. I am most likely out of here but I don't wanna jinx anything, so I'll stay shut. As of now I have 2 areas in the mission, almost at the 11 month mark. Trujui, Padua.... We shall see what the future holds. 4 areas, 2 years   please no Anyways, how are you guys doing? I hope super well.  As for me, I had a few interesting...

Emergency Transfer Again!?! May 12, 2025

Howdy Folks!  Yes. You read it right, another mid transfer change. My comp Elder Engar is no longer with me as Zone Leader and is going out to train a new kid to finish off his mission. So far this is the 2nd Emergency Transfer in the past two months. Pretty crazy, but when President recieves revelation, you gotta respect it haha!  Besides that recent news, it was a good week and we have began to get the ball rolling here in Padua. Instead of walking around in circles all day we have been able to get a good handful of 2nd lessons with people. Let's just say, the work is a LOT more enjoyable sitting in a chair and teaching than walking around all day. Times a tickin here, let's just say that. I hit 10 months a few days ago as a missionary which is actually crazy.  NEWS BREAK: - Shoutout Simon on signing to FAU and Jared to Snow College. - My sister Adalyn and Tanner get married Thursday - My new comp is Elder Benitez from Paraguay  Now for some weekly highlight...

Padua pt. 3 & Baptism!🚀🥳 April 28, 2025

Howdy!!  Back to ya with a quick update on my life here in Padua!! Had a few cool events this week so I figured I'd shoot out a quick update. Also, transfers just happened and I will be staying here in Padua for another 6 weeks (3rd transfer)!! Super excited to keep it going, as we are starting to finally see a little more success.  Also, I hope everyone is doing great back home!! Feel free to shoot me a few updates on your life in general, I love to see them! ☆ It was a struggle to find hours to visit our friend Karina, but after a week of very hard work, it all paid off. Karina got baptized!!!  It was such a great experience and she was on cloud 9!! During the talk about the Holy Ghost, she kept trying to stand up and thank everyone and say a few words...  We met Karina on March 29th, clapping doors. We went looking for a social media reference and instead felt the need to clap a certain house. So we did, and out came Karina. We explained to her our unique m...

Heaven is Cheering You On!!- April 21, 2025

Hey!! Que tal?! Feliz Monday... Hope everyone had a great Holy Week and Easter yesterday! For me it was super spiritual, and an amazing time to reflect a bit. We hear it a bunch, yet at the same time, not even close to enough... So, I too testify, HE LIVES!!! He died for YOU. Don't forget it. Some events from these past 2 Weeks: ☆ We finally went to the Buenos Aires Temple!! Our mission is unfortunately just right outside of the temple boundaries, so we haven't gotten to go ever. However, our president made some calls and we were all able to make it out there and have an unforgettable experience, filled with immense spiritual rejuvenation.  Santidad Al Señor • La Casa Del Señor  Holiness To The Lord • The House Of The Lord ☆ Elder Engar, my comp, did some running before the mission, so we we have been able to get out and run a few of these days. Nothing crazy, but 2-3 miles after not running for a long time feels real good!!  ☆ Had a guy go ape crazy on us for sitt...

Buenos Dias, Buenos Dias, Long time, no see. Hope everyone is doing well! First off, we had an ET (Emergency Transfer). Don't worry, nobody's hurt! Elder Clark has already been in Padua so is going to try out another area before he goes home. It was a short three weeks, but we became good friends. If you see Elder Clark, tell him I miss him! But on the bright side, Elder Engar from Price, Utah is here now! He's a cool guy, and I'm excited to work with him. Here are some experiences from the last couple of weeks: *   Last Saturday, while we were knocking on doors, we ran into Karina! She was super nice and listened to our message. She came to church the next day and loved it! When we showed her the Church app and she saw President Nelson, she got excited and said she recognized him from YouTube and loved what he had to say, and knew he was a heart surgeon. Testimony of the Prophet: CHECK! She also came to General Conference this Sunday, and is on baptismal date for thi...
