Dog Eats Pet Parrot.‼️🫣 May 26, 2025

 My Last comp, Elder Engar, described it perfectly. The mission is like a simple house drawing ... The first wall is the first 6 months, straight up, next you've got the roof going up still but a little less of an Incline. Then you've got the rest, but I haven't gotten there yet so we will save that for later. 

I am at that stage on the mish where things slow down a bit, yet at the same time, that is a lie. Don't ask me how it works, I don't know. All I know is that here soon we will be hitting the 11 month mark. Last time I checked, I was getting trained by Elder Myers... but eh, who checks anyways. Here in 2 weeks we will have transfers. I am most likely out of here but I don't wanna jinx anything, so I'll stay shut. As of now I have 2 areas in the mission, almost at the 11 month mark. Trujui, Padua.... We shall see what the future holds. 4 areas, 2 years  please no

Anyways, how are you guys doing? I hope super well. 

As for me, I had a few interesting weeks pass by. I am now companions with Elder Benitez. He has a little more than a year and a half on the mission. Very nice guy, also he sings very very well. hint hint to the ladies... (although he does live in Paraguay so youll have to figure that one out)

We have been giving it what we got out here in Padua, withhhh not too much success, can't lie. But eh, who defines success anyways. We almost had a baptism this week. But unfortunately 2 days before..."he moved" and stopped responding. After which our 2 other progressing friends also decided to let us know it was best if we didn't pass by anymore . Opposition. - Famous Book of Mormon Scripture: 

2 Nephi 2:11

11 For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things. If not so, my firstborn in the wilderness, righteousness could not be brought to pass, neither wickedness, neither holiness nor misery, neither good nor bad. Wherefore, all things must needs be a compound in one; wherefore, if it should be one body it must needs remain as dead, having no life neither death, nor corruption nor incorruption, happiness nor misery, neither sense nor insensibility.

We definitely are still seeing miracles and blessings. And I'll tell you what, a miracle right after some opposition is a lot sweeter. One miracle being we were able to put our friend Meli on baptismal date with her daughter.  The first time we extended the invitation she declined, saying she needed to learn more. Fast forward one week, on Exchanges with the APs, we invited her once again, and this time she felt the spirit and immediately accepted. 

Interesting/Fun Experiences:

- Saw a guy beating his dog in the street because it was eating his pet parrot. 

- Reunited with CCM comp Elder Burgess 

- I accidently backed into the light switch, turning off the lights, mid sacrament meeting. I could not get them back on, so the bishop had to come help. 

- I gained a Brother-In-Law

- A recent convert didn't fully understand the purpose of the consecrated oil, and put it on his sick cat. We are working on helping him understand...

- Played some paddle for PDAY today. Very enjoyable and similar to Pickle Ball.

- Exchange with the main man Elder Rollins. We were both in the CCM together so it's always fun to get back together. Him stopping a dog from barking~> 

-Me and my comp did the ice bucket challenge because the Zone of Merlo reached our monthly baptismal goal of 15!!! Vid coming to Google Fotos soon...
